
Summer School: Few places remaining - Courses on Saturdays and school holidays
Aged 6-16 and want to take part in a music summer school course? Instrumental, vocal and music technology courses. No prior experience necessary for some courses, also opportunities for more advanced musicians. Some courses this year are being held on a Saturday and during school holidays. Over £18,000 raised for encore in the last year
The fundraising year for encore ended on 31 March and we’d like to thank everyone for the generous and varied support we’ve received over the last year. It’s been a very busy year with lots of concerts, fundraising activities and new initiatives. The summer term is always an action-packed term for our events programme, and all of our ensembles are at the top of their form having rehearsed together for a full academic year. This year is no different with over 10 of our ensembles performing across the city and beyond between now and the end of the year. Get into Music – Instrumental and Vocal Lessons
Did you know that approximately 5000 children and young people learn a musical instrument in schools every year? Giving your child the chance to sing or play an instrument provides them with a fantastic opportunity to learn a unique skill and develop a lifelong passion for music.
